SBI Cards and Payment Services Ltd. Leads Tree Plantation Drive at Kasan Lake, Manesar, Under CSR Initiative on International Women’s Day
Manesar, March 9, 2025 – To celebrate International Women’s Day, SBI Cards and Payment Services Ltd., in collaboration with Gramin Vikas Trust (GVT), Noida, and the Municipal Corporation of Manesar, organized a tree plantation drive at Kasan Lake, Manesar. This Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative focused on environmental conservation while honoring the achievements of women.
The event was attended by Mr. Hitesh Kumar Meena, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of Gurugram, who served as the chief guest, along with the Chief People Officer of SBI Cards and Payment Services Ltd. as the guest of honor. Other notable participants included R.K. Kansal, CEO of GVT, Ajay Nirala, Executive Engineer from the Municipal Corporation of Manesar, and various officials from SBI Cards and Payment Services Ltd. Over 100 individuals participated in the event.
The plantation took place across a 4.5-acre area surrounding the lake. In line with the occasion, two young girls from Kasan village were recognized for their outstanding achievements in sports.
